We are excited to be heading to sunny Seville for VB2026. The conference will be held at the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento hotel on Isla de la Cartuja.

Did you know?

  • With its warm climate and long sunny seasons, Seville is known as one of the sunniest cities in Europe.
  • Seville is home to the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. And for those who want the full view, you can climb the famous Giralda tower and see Seville from above!
  • The conference venue, the Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento, places attendees right next to Isla Mágica, described as the world's first urban theme park and one of Seville’s most distinctive attractions.
  • With more than 14,000 orange trees in the city's plazas, streets, squares and patios, Seville has more orange trees than any other city in the world.
  • Seville Cathedral houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus – with recent DNA testing having definitively confirmed that the remains inside do indeed belong to the famous explorer.
  • The Cathedral, Alcázar and Archivo de Indias in Seville jointly form a UNESCO World Heritage site.
